David Angotti is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and executive recognized for his ability to build, scale, and exit businesses across technology, real estate, and hospitality.

By his early thirties, he had already founded and exited an EdTech brand, establishing himself as a strategic operator with a unique blend of marketing and analytical expertise. During that same period, he consulted Fortune 100 companies on mergers and acquisitions, contributed to one of the world’s top marketing blogs, and served as Vice President of Marketing for a network of more than 1,000 eCommerce sites reaching nearly a billion annual visitors.

In the years that followed, David co-founded and sold a leading short-term rental company in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where he also developed an entire neighborhood designed specifically for vacation rental use—an early signal of his vision for how travel, hospitality, and technology would converge. He later co-founded StaySense, a performance-driven marketing and distribution company that became one of the most trusted growth partners for vacation rental operators across North America.

When COVID-19 threatened the travel industry, David bought out his partner, doubled down on innovation, and led StaySense through a period of exceptional growth that culminated in its acquisition by Guesty, the global leader in property management software. Following the acquisition, David joined Guesty full-time and was promoted to Chief Evangelist, where he helped position the company as the top platform in the short-term rental industry. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to Vacasa, helping guide the transformation of Vacasa.

Before his entrepreneurial career, David flew the fastest civilian jet in the world for NetJets, where he was among the youngest pilots ever hired. During his tenure, he flew global leaders, public figures, and Fortune 500 executives—a foundation that honed his precision, decision-making, and calm under pressure.

Beyond business, David is a dedicated endurance athlete and family man based in Franklin, Tennessee. He has completed over 30 ultramarathons, including three finishes at the legendary Leadville 100, and achieved the lowest cumulative time (top position) at the 2025 Grand Slam of Ultrarunning—a series of four, one-hundred mile races in a 90-day timespan and widely considered to be one of the most demanding achievements in the sport.

A frequent keynote speaker at software conferences and industry events around the world, David brings to the stage a unique perspective on entrepreneurship, technology, and human endurance. He enjoys meeting fellow industry professionals at these events, but also encourages people to get in touch with him here via the contact form or on LinkedIn.
